| As a Registered Yoga Therapist Joan's professional training and experience include Kripalu and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Certification, International Breathwork Certification, Reiki Mastership, Advanced Chakra Yoga Training, Cayce-Reilly Massage School, Neuromuscular Therapy, Somatic ExperienceŽ Trauma Recovery work, and international study with renowned teachers. She holds a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology. | |
| Joan has taught yoga for 13 years at Yoga and Health in Bethlehem, Muhlenberg College, Lucent Technologies and Northampton Community College. She has committed herself to sharing her experience with others who seek health and balance in their own lives. Joan has a non-dogmatic approach, compassion, and a strong understanding of yoga philosophy and postures. | |

Three students are curretnly inTeachers-In-Training. Registered Yoga Teachers have at least 200 hours of nationally certified training through Yoga Alliance, NOT two eight-hour days of training. |

| As we grew up, we were
taught to view the world and ourselves in a particular way. We were taught
to focus on our material things. Taught to focus on external goals. While much of this was necessary to successfully live in the modern world, somehow we lost touch with who we really are. What we truly are capable of. We didn't actually lose it, just lost sight of it. As you have found your way here, dear friend, you already recognize your need to find what you might have lost along the way. Your peace. Your health. Your purpose. This journey can take many forms.
